Baker Tilly Hong Kong confirmed its financial support for a scholarship program at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2010. The scholarship program recognises academic achievement in the accounting field. The Baker Tilly Hong Kong Excellence in Accounting Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance and nurture young talent from the School of Accounting and Finance. According to the University, the University's annual tuition fee is HK$42,000, while typical first-year students come from families with a median household income of HK$15,027.

Baker Tilly Hong Kong is the backbone of the Baker Tilly Hong Kong Business Angels Programme that matches upcoming entrepreneurs with successful business people. The programme, initiated by the British Chamber of Commerce, helps promising start-ups raise finance and provides free advice. The programme offers an opportunity for bright entrepreneurs to partner with successful business "angels" for a chance to establish themselves in Hong Kong.
