Meet our people Find out what our team members have to say about their experiences in working with Baker Tilly Hong Kong.
Oliver Chan, Audit Manager [+]
"Hi! I am an audit manager at Baker Tilly Hong Kong. Baker Tilly provides me a professional and challenging environment, and has exposed me to different kinds of industries. It is not easy to escape from pressure when working as an auditor, yet the friendly culture here always makes me feel energetic and happy. Staff grading is orderly structured, and every one of us works and plays hard together. This is why I have been in Baker Tilly since September 2005 as a fresh graduate!"
Amy Cheung, Tax Manager [+]
"What I find most valuable from Baker Tilly is the people I have been working with and the harmonious environment and atmosphere of our department. When I started as a Tax Assistant, I found that my colleagues were very supportive and we work as a family. Working in this environment does help a lot to lift my mood and morale when my in-tray is at landslide level, and I do want to say, even at busy times of the year, I can still get off from work and have a nice dinner with my family and friends, which I personally don't think happens quite often elsewhere."
Terri Hugel, secondment from UK [+]
"I went to Baker Tilly Hong Kong as part of the Baker Tilly International secondment program and was instantly swept up in all the secondment is designed to offer.
I initially went straight out on audit, as part of a team of 4. This first assignment taught me quickly the Baker Tilly Hong Kong audit approach. It also gave me the opportunity to begin building friendships with the colleagues I was working with.
Following this assignment, I was given 2 large projects, both of which reporting directly to partner. These were the assignments which were the most challenging during my stay. Both of these assignments enabled me to work on my organisation skills, and gave me experience in much larger assignments.
I believe that I have learnt a lot, not only technically and from a work perspective, but about different cultures and how to integrate into a new, and much larger, office."
